On August 18, 2020, according to the Administrative Measures of Model Bases for Popular Science in Nanjing (NKG [2015] No.2), 15 units including Duolun Technology were identified as “the 15th Batch of Model Bases for Popular Science Education in Nanjing” with declaration from Duolun, recommendation from each district (park), and review from the expert group. Additionally, Duolun was awarded the title of “Science Popularization Base of Intelligent Transportation”.

This is another significant honor for Duolun Technology after the enterprise was selected on the list of “Model Bases for Popular Science Education in Jiangning District, Nanjing” and “Bases of Jiangsu Provincial Comprehensive Transportation Society for Popular Science Education of Intelligent Transportation”. It marks that Duolun Technology has officially become a model base for popular science covering the district, the city, and the province.

This selection aims to advocate departments for science and technology in each district (park) to conscientiously implement the Regulations on Popularizing Science of Technology in Nanjing, and with the construction of model bases for science popularization, to learn scientific knowledge, advocate scientific methods, carry forward scientific spirits, spread scientific philosophy, and promote scientific and technological application, so as to improve citizens’ scientific quality, and promote the construction of an innovative city in Nanjing.

The exhibition hall is of great significance for Duolun Technology to popularize its technologies to the field of mass transportation. There is a professional team to carry out plans for informatization and intelligentization, as well as special personnel to operate and provide explanation services. There are more than 50 exhibits, covering the equipment integrated with software and hardware, including traffic signal lights, the signal control machine, the test system for motor vehicle drivers, the BDS differential positioning system, the video monitoring system, military and civil simulator equipment for driver training, the system of intelligent robot instructors, the vehicle terminal for timing training, etc. All the equipment is presented under Duolun’s own research and development. In its daily operation and development, Duolun not only actively uses the exhibition hall to carry out science popularization that is common, public, cultural, and scientific, but also participates in the construction of bases for traffic safety education in China. Since 2016, Duolun has responded to the call of Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security to carry out a nationwide and front-line tour of traffic safety education, and popularize science with the safety magic box.
