The signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between Duolun Technology and CITL was rounded off in Wuxi on January 17, 2025. The cooperation marks an important move and expansion of Duolun Technology in the new energy sector. The two sides, relying on a resource sharing and channel co-building mechanism, will strengthen collaboration on safety testing of new energy vehicles (NEVs) across China to push the industry to a new development stage.
Leaders who attended the ceremony and witnessed the signing include Zhang Anqiang, Chairman of Duolun Technology, Ruan Wei, its Deputy General Manager, and Song Zhi, its General Manager of Intelligent Manufacturing Base, as well as Sun Kangsheng, CITL Chairman, Weng Yuanfeng, General Manager of Public Affairs Department of CITL, and Yang Lixiang, CITL Product Director. Duolun Technology and CITL will capitalize on their respective resource advantages in new energy business, brand, talent, technology and more, and start profound cooperation on NEV driving safety testing, industrial and commercial energy storage system application, talent training, battery safety technology and so forth, in the hope of expediting market penetration, improving service quality and leading the industry to higher-level development.
Under the cooperation agreement, CITL with distinct advantages and market influence in battery service and integrated NEV services and Duolun Technology that possesses abundant offline equipment product lines (testing equipment, energy storage equipment, etc.) and extensive customer service network resources will combine their strengths and jointly seek a new cooperation model in NEV safety testing.
During the implementation of the upcoming Chinese standards about operation safety testing for NEVs, the two companies will integrate an online warning platform and offline testing devices to create integrated solutions for NEV operation safety testing and to promote them in motor vehicle testing stations nationwide. Additionally, they, based on the supply chains and technical advantages in power batteries and energy storage batteries of CITL’s shareholders, will carry out cooperation on the development and application of industrial and commercial energy storage products and energy storage safety testing system.
In the coming years, their strategic partnership will facilitate the upgrading of the NEV safety and service system, which will be conductive to the standardization of the industry.
