On December 13, 2024, the “2024 Automotive Aftermarket Innovation and Development Conference” was held in Beijing. The conference was hosted by China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. and co-hosted by China Association for Consumer Products Quality and Safety Promotion and China Automotive Maintenance and Repair Trade Association. The two new energy vehicle testing standards——Requirements for the Building of New Energy Vehicle Operational Safety Performance Testing Capabilities of Motor Vehicle Testing Agencies and Guidelines for High-level Personnel Training on New Energy Vehicle Operational Safety Performance Testing in Motor Vehicle Testing Agencies——were officially released, and the certificates were awarded at this conference. Duolun Technology and its subsidiary J-Blue Tech jointly participated in the formulations of the two standards.
Formulating standards, leading new industry norms
The Requirements for the Building of New Energy Vehicle Operational Safety Performance Testing Capabilities of Motor Vehicle Testing Agencies specifies the requirements in terms of general requirements, personnel, facilities and environment, instruments and equipment, and management systems for motor vehicle testing agencies to build their capabilities for new energy vehicle operational safety performance testing. This standard particularly emphasizes the regulation of fire protection facility construction and the improvement of personnel anti-electric shock safety equipment. It aims to ensure the safety and reliability of the new energy vehicle testing process, effectively reduce potential risks during the testing, and promote the standardized and regulated development of the new energy vehicle testing industry.
The Guidelines for High-level Personnel Training on New Energy Vehicle Operational Safety Performance Testing in Motor Vehicle Testing Agencies focuses on the cultivation and capacity-upgrade of industry professionals. By clarifying the training curriculum system, teaching methods, and assessment standards, it provides a solid theoretical foundation and practical guidance for motor vehicle testing agencies to train high-level professionals who meet the needs of new energy vehicle testing. This will strongly promote the capacity-upgrade and renewal of the industry professionals, ensure the precise implementation of new energy vehicle testing standards and inject continuous intellectual momentum into the sustainable development of the industry.
Following the successful release of the national standard New Energy Vehicle Operational Safety Performance Testing Procedures, the two standards mark Duolun Technology renewed participation in the formulation of the first domestic standards related to new energy vehicle operational safety inspection and testing. The two standards will provide a construction basis for motor vehicle testing agencies to add new energy vehicle testing capabilities and offer a reference for the capacity enhancement of technical and management personnel.
The official release of the two standards is also a high affirmation and recognition of Duolun Technology’s policy leadership, industrial collaboration, and market innovation in the new energy vehicle aftermarket. The New Energy Vehicle Operational Safety Performance Testing Procedures, jointly drafted by the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security and multiple research institutions including Duolun Technology, will be officially implemented on March 1, 2025. As the new national standard for new energy vehicle testing approaches implementation, Duolun Technology has contributed to the formulation and release of supporting standards, laying the foundation for the effective implementation of the new national standard.
