The preparatory meeting of the Technical Working Group for Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection of China Road Safety Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Working Group") was held in Beijing on August 30, 2023. The meeting was sponsored by China Road Safety Association and organized by China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. 36 organizations including Duolun Technology, Dekra, Rheinland, BYD, BAIC Group, Jiangling Group, Central South University and Chongqing University attended the meeting.

01 Promote the implementation of industry standards

China Road Safety Association was established with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. Its members include traffic police corps of various provinces, traffic police detachments of some prefecture-level cities, scientific research institutes and related enterprises.

The Technical Working Group for Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection of China Road Safety Association was established to effectively promote industry self-discipline and policy implementation through the formulation of industry standards and self-discipline conventions, actively carry out publicity, education and industry construction, and scientifically guide the people to correctly understand the significance of regular inspection of in-use vehicles.

As discussed at the meeting, China Automotive Engineering Research Institute and Duolun Technology were respectively elected as the leader and deputy leader of the working group. Representatives of member units had in-depth exchanges on the future work plan and construction of the working group at the meeting.

02 Develop the advantages of enterprise chain

Duolun Technology, as a nationwide large-scale motor vehicle chain inspection institution and a member on behalf of the inspection institutions of the National New Energy Vehicle Operation Safety Inspection Standard Calibration Committee, participated in the "National Key R&D Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology—New Energy Vehicle Operation Safety Inspection Technology System and Platform R&D and Application Verification" together with the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security and other members of the standard committee in 2023 to make outstanding contributions to building a new model of "annual inspection" for the safe operation of new energy vehicles and creating the “Chinese Program” for vehicle operation safety inspection, namely "online active early warning and offline hidden danger elimination".  

03 Simulate the sound development of the industry

The establishment of the Technical Working Group for Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection of China Road Safety Association provides an important communication platform for the motor vehicle inspection industry.

In the future, Duolun Technology will further develop its chain advantages, platform advantages and technical advantages, complete the industrialization of new energy vehicle operation safety performance inspection and advance the orderly development of relevant work of the working group based on the working group. It will also work with industry partners to ensure the safety source of new energy vehicle operation and boost the high-quality development of the motor vehicle inspection industry.
