On March 8, 2023, Zhang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST) and President of Zijin Institute for Strategic Studies of NUST, and his delegation visited Duolun Technology for inspection and guidance. Zhang Anqiang, Chairman of Duolun Technology, received the guests. The two sides held the 2023 Seminar on Intelligent Connected Vehicles and Digital Economy, on which they conducted in-depth talks on the development status of intelligent connected vehicles, smart cities and other emerging fields, as well as relevant matters for their cooperation.

Leaders visit Duolun Technology’s headquarters and industry exhibition hall

Zhang Jun and other leaders visited Duolun Technology’s exhibition hall intelligent industry achievements to gain a deep understanding of the company’s development status, technical achievements and product application of its four core businesses, i.e., smart vehicle administration, smart transportation, smart driver training, and smart vehicle inspection. They carried out comprehensive inspection and in-depth exchanges on advanced technologies and applications of intelligent connected vehicles, vehicle-road coordination and smart cities.

At the seminar, Chairman Zhang Anqiang introduced in detail Duolun Technology’s development history and business layout in different industries. Zhang said that Duolun Technology has long remained committed to innovation based on market demands. It has built and improved a multi-level R&D and innovation system and worked with colleges, universities and scientific institutions to address problems of key technologies and promote the transformation of technological achievements. Its efforts have contributed to technological progress and industrialization of the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) and Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICV).

Zhang Jun highly recognized and affirmed the company’s achievements of scientific research innovation and application. He said that Duolun Technology, as a technologically advanced enterprise in Jiangsu Province, represents the supreme model of private enterprises in the province. NUST was founded on the basis of the PLA Military Institute of Engineering that was established in 1953. With an enrollment of more than 30,000 students, it is now a member of the “Double First-class” construction universities and disciplines in China. Over more than 70 years, it has evolved into a highly distinctive university with programs featuring land-sea-air-space-communication integration. He hoped that the two sides will continue to develop intelligent connected vehicles through technological empowerment, and establish cooperation in a wide range of aspects, such as standard formulation, project application, platform construction, and pilot programs, for traffic safety. Through joint efforts to build a new ecosystem of intelligent connected vehicles, they would be better poised to boost the high-quality development of the ICV industry.
