Recently, at the “Science and Technology Award of China Institute of Communications 2019” ceremony held by China Institute of Communications, the “Multi-mode Active Collaboration Technology and Application Based on the Edge Internet of Vehicles”, which was jointly undertaken by Duolun Technology and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, won the second-class prize.

The “Science and Technology Award of China Institute of Communications” is a regular science and technology award set up in the national communications industry with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2019, after being reviewed by the award review committee of China Institute of Communications, a total of 37 achievements this year won the award, including 12 first award projects such as the R&D and Large-scale Application Project of the Security Protection Platform of Cloud-Network Collaborative Distributed Near-source Network (YUNDI), 9 second award projects such as the Researches on and Application of Key Technologies of Risk Assessment and Promotion on Network Security Awareness, and 16 third award projects such as the New Home Gateway Management and Business Control System Based on Software-Defined Network Technology.

The “Multi-mode Active Collaboration Technology and Application Based on the Edge Internet of Vehicles” jointly undertaken by Duolun Technology and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications is based in the field of communication networks and terminals. Funded by National Basic Research Program of China (the 973 Program), National Science and Technology Major Project, and National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc., it aims at major scientific problem that existing network resources cannot carry the needs of in-vehicle services due to rigid network mechanisms and limited network resources in the complex and dynamic environment of edge Internet of Vehicles, and tries to construct a multi-mode active collaborative reconstruction system oriented, which faces to the dynamic adaptation of resources and services to solve the above problems.

In recent years, Duolun Technology and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications have carried out close cooperation in the field of Internet of Vehicles. We two parties have jointly undertaken the special fund project for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Jiangsu Province, jointly established school-enterprise cooperation bases and graduate workstations, and achieved fruitful results in intellectual property rights and related achievement transformation.

In the future, we will seize the development opportunities of the new generation of information and communication technologies, cooperate with Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in all aspects, and accelerate the deep integration and innovation of the production, educations, researches, and applications in fields like Internet of Things and Internet of Vehicles.
