On December 15, 2021, CPC Committee of Duolun Technology and the Second Teaching and Administrative Party Branch of School of Marxism Studies, Jinling Institute of Technology successfully held the signing ceremony for joint contribution to Party development at the headquarters of Duolun Technology, aiming at implementing the guiding principles of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in full, promoting the construction of Party committees at the primary level, and boosting the efforts of both sides for Party development.

Wang Sitao, Dean of School of Marxism Studies and Secretary of the School Party Committee of Jinling Institute of Technology, Ge Weidong, Deputy Dean of School of Marxism Studies of Jinling Institute of Technology, and Gui Shixin, Secretary of the Second Teaching and Administrative Party Branch of School of Marxism Studies, Jinling Institute of Technology—they led all the Party members of the Branch to the headquarters of Duolun Technology, and held talks with Ruan Wei, Vice President and Secretary of CPC Committee of Duolun Technology, and other Party members, seeking the “common ground”, wide consultation and joint contribution to promote the construction and development of Party organizations in colleges and universities as well as enterprises.

The cooperation between CPC Committee of Duolun Technology and the Teaching and Administrative Party Branch of the school marked the first attempt in history of joint contribution to Party development. The atmosphere of the on-site ceremony was solemn, and comrades exchanged enthusiastically. Both sides reached a consensus after two speeches delivered by Dean Wang Sitao and Vice President Ruan Wei, as well as the visits and exchanges of other Party members, on the significance and future development of the joint contribution to Party development. The details are as follows:

First, joint contribution to Party development is a critical element to respond to the call of the Party Central Committee, implement major resolutions of the Party and improve the development of Party organizations at the primary level. Solid work shall move us forward in promoting the development of Party organizations and an initiative shall be started to explore and vigorously develop the joint contribution of Party organizations to Party development, with a view to energizing Party organizations.

Second, joint contribution to Party development is in conformity with the elementary principles of Marxist Materialist Dialectics, namely practicing the concept of connection and following the law of unity of opposites. Joint contribution to Party development is supposed to unite both sides in improving productivity, cohesion and competitiveness. Tapping into talent resources of the school can provide impetus for the high-quality development of enterprises, in turn, with the assistance of enterprises, CPC members among teachers are expected to yield better teaching results by access to actual practices combined with theories.

Third, joint contribution to Party development is a feasible path to practice the “Wisdom Party Building”, enhance the efficiency of Party organizations development and explore new models of Party building. The joint contribution to Wisdom Party Building of Jinling Institute of Technology and Duolun Technology. that boasts geographical proximity, shared goals and complementary advantages acts as an important frame of reference for extensive cooperation between schools and localities as well as between schools and enterprises.

Through joint contribution to Party development, CPC Committee of Duolun Technology and the Second Teaching and Administrative Party Branch of the School of Marxism Studies of Jinling Institute of Technology will rally closer around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, comprehensively implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, vigorously encourage the great spirits of Party building, and make contributions to the realization of the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation by virtue of  unostentatious hard work, bravery and steadfastness.
