On May 28, 2021, the “New Era, New Technology and New Development – Forum of Motor Vehicle Inspection Technology and Industry Development in China”, guided by the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, hosted by China ITS Industry Alliance and organized by Duolun Technology, was held in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, the place where Duolun Vehicle Inspection started its development.

As the first event of China ITS Industry Alliance in 2021, the forum, supported by the Traffic Police Headquarters of Shandong Provincial Public Security Department and the Traffic Police Detachment of Zaozhuang Public Security Bureau, attracted nearly 200 people from Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Zhejiang, Hebei, Henan, Jiangxi and etc., including experts, leaders, and industry colleagues of traffic police, industry associations, as well as vehicle inspection agencies and vehicle inspection sci-tech equipment companies.

Sun Bing, political commissar of Vehicle Administration of the Public Security Department of Shandong Province shared the experience of Vehicle Administration of the Public Security Department of Shandong Province in applying a full use of scientific technology to motor vehicle inspection and management. “The Vehicle Administration of the Public Security Department of Shandong Province promotes and urges the normalized and standardize development of inspection agencies by intensifying its efforts on the mechanism construction, focusing on the constant, effective and rigorous supervision and management,” Sun said.

Zhang Anqiang, Chairman of Duolun Technology, delivered a speech at the forum. He said: “With the leadership of all authorities and the support of partners, the work of Duolun Vehicle Inspection has begun to bear fruit but still has a long way to go. Motor vehicle inspection industry in the new era should not compete in price. Instead, it should shift its competition in terms of intelligence, scientific technology and service.”

Zou Rong, professor at East China University of Political Science and Law, addressed a online speech with the theme of Legal Attributes of Vehicle Inspection and Related Legal Liabilities, which was a comprehensive, in-depth analysis of legal related knowledge of the motor vehicle inspection industry.

Sun Wei, researcher of the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, delivered a wonderful speech Reflection on Motor Vehicle Security Inspection against the Backdrop of Reform on Streamlining Administration and Delegating Power, Improving Regulation, and Upgrading Services, suggesting that the connotation of the new policy is to increase industry vitality, enhance industry management, and serve vehicle owners. At the same time, the formulation of new industry standards will focus on safety by considering the demands of the majority of car owners and enterprises and implementing the requirements of the national top-level design to support the industry’s high-quality, sustainable development.

Shi Jianrong, Deputy Director of the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, gave a speech Discussion of the Application of Motor Vehicle Inspection and Supervision Technology. He believed that future inspection and supervision should be performed through the duty car key car library, AI intelligent audit technology, and dynamic supervision to improve the technical intelligence of the inspection technology.

Ji Jun, Deputy Director of the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, delivered a speech The Challenge and Resolution of the Cyber-security brought by the Networking of Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection Agencies. Ji elaborated and analyzed comprehensively from 3 aspects: the current situation of motor vehicle safety inspection agencies networking, the security challenges it brought about, and strategies requirements of strengthening network security.

Yuan Li, General Manager of Duolun Vehicle Inspection

Yuan Li, General Manager of Duolun Vehicle Inspection, gave a comprehensive analysis on Service and Information Empowerment of Chain Motor Vehicle Inspection Agencies. Yuan reported on the current development, landing measures, achievements and future development direction of Duolun Vehicle Inspection in an all-around way. She pointed out that the quality ecosystem in the vehicle inspection industry requires common construction and maintenance of related enterprises.

Di Jianhui, Chief Engineer of Huayan Technology in Shijiazhuang

Di Jianhui, Chief Engineer of Huayan Technology in Shijiazhuang, shared a speech Study and Outlook of the Development of Motor Vehicle Inspection Technology with guests. Di argued that in the rapid development of intelligent networked vehicles, the inspection technology for new energy vehicles needs to be implemented through online inspection, physical verification and collaborative inspection.

A Field Visit to Intelligent Vehicle Inspection

After the forum, the guests went to the Duolun Technology Intelligent Vehicle Inspection model site -- Shengdao new Intelligent Motor Vehicle Inspection Station in Tengzhou of Duolun Vehicle Inspection for a field visit. The intelligent, information-based inspection equipment and inspection processes were unanimously affirmed by the leaders and media guests.
